Theater Tour Love Unlimited Great Success

Over the past months, the theater tour “Love Unlimited” traveled through the Netherlands.

Lead actors from the production were young people from the Netherlands and Kenya. Around 3,000 youth at secondary schools in the Netherlands saw the production and received a guest lecture from the Kenyan actors.

 

One of the Kenyan actors, Ruth, looks back at the tour with a positive feeling, “The young people were curious. You really sensed that they really wanted to know more about AIDS and how they could help in the fight against this disease. That really impacted me.”

 

Even the young people seemed to be touched by the tour. “This production really opens your eyes,” says one of the youth. The tour, a collaborative effort between Tear, Edukans and Youth for Christ on behalf of the Act Positive Campaign, has since been completed.
